"Jeroen Kooijmans (1967, Schijndel, NL) is an internationally acclaimed artist and filmmaker whose work moves between visual art, architecture, and cinema. He studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, where he met his wife, the artist Elspeth Diederix. His work has been exhibited at Tate Modern in London, PS1/MoMA and The New Museum in New York, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and the Centraal Museum Utrecht. In 1998, he received the NPS Culture Prize."
