Tusharr Madhavv

"Tusharr Madhavv (b. India) is an artist-filmmaker based in the Netherlands. Engaging with marginalised and contested histories, his work explores relationships between people, landscapes, memory, and lived experience. Through oral-history accounts, personal narratives, and archival materials, he examines how individual and collective histories are remembered, transmitted, and inhabited. His films A Ballad of Maladies (2017), Detour (2024), and Roohrangi (2025) have been presented internationally at film festivals, museums, and cultural institutions. A former resident artist at Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, he received the 64th National Film Award of India for his debut film. He also designs storytelling workshops and teaches at art academies."
